Delete your Cellit account

This page is for the Cellit app as listed on Google Play and other app stores, and for the Cellit web app at my.cellit.foundation. It is published by Cellit so you can request that your Cellit account and associated data be deleted.
How to request deletion
Use any one of the methods below. If you have uninstalled Cellit, submit the form on this page.
1. Submit the form on this page
Enter the email address of your Cellit account. Add your name or any details that help us find the account (optional). Confirm that you understand deletion is permanent, then submit the request.
We will verify the request and delete the account and associated data within 30 days. We may email you if we need to confirm your identity.
2. Request deletion by email
Send a message from the email address on your Cellit account to [email protected] with the subject “Account deletion request”. Include the account email and any account ID you have.
We treat email requests the same as the form: verification, then deletion within 30 days.
3. Delete from the Cellit app
If you still have Cellit installed, open the app, sign in, go to Account or Settings, choose Delete account, and confirm. That in-app request is processed the same way as a request submitted here.
What happens to your data
The following applies to the Cellit app, the Cellit web app, and related Cellit services.
Data we delete
- Account profile data, including name or display name, email address, and authentication credentials or tokens
- Device and contribution telemetry linked to your account (device type, operating system, client version, contribution status, capacity and limit settings, session duration, and earnings or contribution totals)
- App preferences and contribution schedules tied to the account
- Communications associated with the account, except the deletion request itself
Data we keep
- Anonymized or aggregated network statistics that cannot identify you
- Records we must keep to comply with law — for example tax, accounting, dispute, or fraud-prevention records
- A record of this deletion request (the email you submitted and the date) so we can show the request was received and completed
Retention periods
- We start processing after we verify the request. The Cellit account and associated personal data are deleted within 30 days of verification.
- Financial, tax, or accounting records that the law requires us to keep may be retained for up to 7 years, then deleted or fully anonymized.
- Security or anti-abuse logs, if retained, are kept for up to 90 days.
- We keep the deletion-request record for 12 months, then delete it.
Submitting a request here deletes the Cellit account and associated data. It does not uninstall the app from your device. Remove Cellit from the device separately if you want it gone. If you have a Google Play subscription for Cellit, cancel it in Google Play as well.
